You are 10% geek
OK, so maybe you ain't a geek. You do, at least, show a bit of interest in the world around you. Either that, or you have enough of a sense of humor to pick some of the sillier answers on the test. Regardless, you're probably a pretty nifty, well-rounded person who gets along fine with people and can chat with just about anyone without fear of looking stupid or foolish or overly concerned with minutiae. God, I hate you.
Take the Polygeek Quiz at Thudfactor.com On a random note, the other day while in the elevator a lady asked me if anyone has ever told me that i look like drew barrymore:) i think i should actually start keeping track of how many random people who i have never met before say that to me. the funny thing is, i dont really see it.
So last week was probably one of the more insane weeks of my life, that ended in a happy and productive weekend. Basically i worked about 70 hours (i worked till midnight wed, 10:30pm thurs, 11pm fri and i worked 8 hours sat). It was kind of overwhelming in a way too, bc what i was doing takes awhile and the client pushed up a deadline and basically it was a time crunch which isnt helpful when 1) you dont know what you are doing exactly and 2) you need the client to answer stuff, but they are only there until like 6. Just to give you a taste of how pathetic i have become, today i was excited bc i got off work the earliest ever. and you ask what time this was - 7pm. i know i know, i am pathetic. oh well, at least i am never bored and am learning alot. today i decided to celebrate my early time off by going to the mall across the street. here i made some promising ann taylor work clothing purchases and finally found a pair of acceptable shoes with the correct height (man, it has been one tough search). i am still himming and haughing over the price and whether i want a half size larger. other than that life is pretty good right now. i framed pictures on my one day off and so i have one art print framed and a picture collage and a ballet print. it is good stuff. i just have to decide where to put them all now. i also hung a mirror horizontally on my wall (it looks cute, but is ever so slightly crooked - time will tell if i get too annoyed and change it), i also made a bill binder (is that nerdy, or just organizational?) and i got to eat food that i bought over the weekend and tonight :) Oh and also i watched miracle and along came polly saturday night. i liked both, each for different reasons. oh oh, also i attempted to go to church this weekend. however i knew where one was but not the time, i unwittingly assumed there would be an 11am service. yeah, i was wrong. and also, my choices were church of the messiah and church of the nazarane. both of which i am not too sure of, mainly bc i have no idea what they are or believe in. i heard nazarane might be kind of like lutheran. ?? so anyway, all was not a loss bc a little farther on manchester (where the churches were), there was this super cheap arco. do you know how excited i was? so excited, bc it is like 13 cents cheaper than all the other overpriced places near me - thank goodness for a fmv gas station :) also, after this discover i headed to home depot to get some parts so that i could pretend to be handy. and i was - i bought hardware to reattach the armrest cushion. and i must say i pulled it off flawlessly. needless to say i was mighty proud of myself.
and that is enough for now. au revoir.
