Wow, it's been a while since I've posted, hasn't it??? Let's see...where to start...
LIFE
To be quite honest, I have never been happier with life.
mysti_panther21 and I have been living together for 4 and a half months now and I am very happy! It has been so wonderful to come home to someone everyday. Everyone keeps asking me when we are gonna get married. We will in due time! We just seem to have so many common interests and enjoy the same things, its awesome! We can go out, sit at the 50 cent roulette table for a while, enjoy free drinks and have a great time. I love her so much!
Still living in the same place. Living in a house with several other people has its ups and downs. Rent is cheap. House is nice. The pool and spa are awesome (can't wait till Spring to get into the pool!!!). However, some of the people are quite inconsiderate, rulebreakers, rude, dirty, loud, etc. Some of them don't know how or where to park. Some smoke in the house when it is stated in the rules that it's not allowed. Some park their car so others can't. Difficult to handle sometimes, but I can look past it. I really like it here, it is such a nice area, not TOO far from the world.
WORK
Work also has ups and downs. Most of the time, it's up. I am really starting to make decent money. Most of the time, I have passion for what I do. Most of the time, I really enjoy my job and the people I work with. But it can be difficult sometimes. I expect a high quality of performance out of myself, but I don't always live up to it and I tend to take it out on myself alot. I just need to learn not to do that. Plus, the job has lots of perks! It really shows sometime when we go out to eat and we get the bill...or lack thereof! :) Selling restaurant supplies is cool sometimes!
FAMILY
My family is awesome! I have actually gotten to see quite alot of them lately, which is really cool. We had the best Christmas ever in 2005. My mom turned 50 this year, so we had a surprise birthday party for her, which was also awesome. Got to see lots of family members I haven't seen in literally decades! Pure coolness! This year is also my dad's 70th birthday in December, so we'll see how that goes as well.
FUN
We've been going out alot lately. If it's just to have dinner, or play a little video poker, or just to the bar to see George (best bartender in the world!), we always enjoy ourselves. I feel it is very important to get out of the house and enjoy life.
ROCKY
After 10 years of doing Rocky, I finally retired. Done. And, in my opinion, not a moment too soon! Soon after I retired, Rocky was forced to leave the Tropicana Cinemas! There are a few stories as to why, I have my own reasonings, but anyway, it's no longer at the theater. One cast goes to doing the shows in a nightclub in beautiful and oh-so-friendly (sarcasm) downtown Las Vegas, the other goes to a hamburger stand. Rocky doesn't belong in either of those places! I am not sure if the nightclub Rocky is still performing. And on top of everything else, it looks like the theater is going strong with the new owner. Anyway, I am personally glad I am not doing Rocky in a nightclub or at a hamburger stand!!!
PERSONAL GROWTH
As I mentioned before, I started going to Rapport Leadership International. I have since become a Master Graduate of the program, and realized alot about myself and alot about other people. It's one of the very best things that ever happened to me. It was also 100 of the hardest hours of my life, going through the courses, but well worth it.
Anyway, I guess that's about it for now. I am really enjoying life, having fun, and kicking butt! What could be better?!?!
Until my next post (2007, anyone? ;) ),
