The buffet at Aladdin's was really good, but I'm not sure if it's still there. And not cheap, I think it was $25 or something. But tons of appropriate and good food, all different kinds of cuisines.

25$ woah! isn't vegas supposed to be notorious for cheap buffets? lol

i heard aladdins got a pf changs too which is nice. they have several vegan options, but i'd prefer to try non-chain restaurants.

Yeah no kidding. When I was in Vegas, I did not find anything to be cheap. Not sure where that rumor comes from. I guess if you gamble a whole lot, but then, it's not really cheap then is it. This buffet was the best buffet I've ever seen in my entire life. Just about every kind of food I could think of was there.

Yes! There is a P.F. Chang's in the Aladdin, across the street from the Bellagio.

This is an older entry, but I'm adding my commentary since this will likely be useful for future vegan Vegas visitors :)

Seriously, the Spice Market buffet at Aladdin's is AMAZING. The lunch buffet is $25, but you can find coupons in free magazines for $5 off. I defintely got my money's worth: veggie sushi, a huge spread of Middle Eastern fare, Italian, Mexican....this buffet had so many different kinds of food. And it was all really tasty.

Now that I'm back from Vegas, here's some more info:

First of all, be prepared to spend a lot of money on food if you stay within the Strip. Everything there is more expensive than what you'd pay in other areas of the country, even compared to a place like NYC. The only buffet that really impressed me was the one at the Aladdin, which was sooooo vegan-friendly. Breakfast buffets (and breakfast at a lot of cafes/restaurants) is more limited as far as vegan options, and you'll be paying a lot for something like a bowl of fruit. Tamba has an Indian buffet daily from 12-4pm which I did not eat, but it looked promising.

If you are a coffee fiend, there are Starbucks in almost all of the casinos, with soy milk and the standard drinks available.
