SWR Konzert am Theatre of Living Arts mit Colin!
So...friday night Colin & I went to a pretty happenin' show at the Theatre of Living Arts on South ST.
When we got there it was rather lame...the band playing when we came in, Astra Heights was terrible.
The second opening act, Nightmare of You, was surprisingly really good...the lead singer was sooo cute & the bassist was really amusing to watch he was so out of it and into it.
While we were waiting for SWR to come out, Colin was given candy from rowdy stranger which I later convinced him not to eat, even though he claims he never intended to (yeah, riiiight).
She Wants Revenge was amaaaazing, really mellow and out there but at the same time totally upbeat. pshhh, we all know I have a soft spot for dark new wave.
After the show we met Justin & Adam of SWR on the street & I had them sign my chucks (and Colin his Nightmare of You shirt...wtf? lol) with a green sharpie we borrowed from some other random people on the street. They were both really nice guys (: We also met the bassist from Nightmare of You and I had him sign the album I bought after the show...
Aside from that, we spotted a fairly crazy character with a rather blunt slogan on his shirt...not a pretty sight.
so, I had shitloads of fun and I'd definitely see SWR or NoY again !
