Poor management of a situation that could be easily remedied by requiring rabies vaccinations, leash laws, or even simply more reasonable use of pet licensing. Euthanizing man's best friend is NOT the appropriate or reasonable answer. It's a sad day for animal rights in China ( Read more... )

Well, considering the fact that they violate human rights by implementing their bullshit one-child policy, do you really think they give a damn about violating animal rights by this form of population control?
If they can't be arsed with the consequences of their human population control, I don't think they're going to care about the consequesnces of animal population control. They just don't have any regard for the rights of any living creature in general.
