A vegan/womanly matter

I used to have my period only every other month, but recently (since i moved to my sister's) I have been having it constantly. I used to have breaks but within the past week its been constant. I'm worried because of the loss of iron in me. Being  broke I don't have that much money. I can only spend $40 a week on vegan food. I usually buy vegan wheat bread, tofurky lunch meat, vegan cheese, maybe something edible to snack on and maybe if i'm lucky a piece of fruit or two. Thus i'm not getting alot of iron anyways. Me bleeding DOES NOT help this. I'm worried that i'll get sick. I don't want to quit being vegan. It's not an option for me. But will I die because I can't afford the nutritional stuff? Also if its any help to find out whats wrong i am overweight and 20 years old. I did hear that weight changes your period.

Do you know what's wrong? I sure don't. And i'm a little scared.

UPDATE: Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I'll be eating more beans and greens now and less processed foods. If this persists after a few days of eating right then i'll go see a doctor.
