I know that there has been talk before about this but I still have some questions. I was thinking about vegan cat food for a little while, I did some research and I know that cats are obligate carnivores but I have read about people feeding cats certin vegan cat food and they have been fine. Some have also lived longer and helped them with weight issues. I have been looking at Ami's has anyone tried that?
If not vegan cat food, then what is the best meat-based cat food you have found? I would like to try Newman's but I am looking for something more in my price range right now. Is there any healthy, natural, not factory farmed food out there that's cheaper?
I was also thinking about feeding them homemade food. Is there a difference price wise between buying free-range, "cruelty free" meat making it myself and buying it already prepared?
Anyone have recipes? Thanks.
