Does anyone else get excited when real life actors have an effect on their tv persona? By this I mean when an actor uses their pull to effect the way their character in shown to promote veg*n lifestyles? I could only think of vegetarian examples, but here are some off the top of my head

Zoe Deshenel (gah spelling, Emily's sister), is a strict vegan and was on Top Chef asking the contestants to make her a totally vegan meal (gluten free too). I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure she's also made sure to make it known in her movies that she's vegan as well.

vegan, gluten free, AND soy free. I think I'd also be stumped as a chef! props to her for sticking with it.

I've only seen her in elf and failure to launch, and I didn't know she was vegan then, so I wasn't looking out for it. I'll have to start now!

but then a few months after that Top Chef, Zoe went on a talk show and said she wasn't vegan, and talked about going to baseball games and eating (meat, not veg) hot dogs :(

oh no. I heard her and her husband (Ben Gibbard, Death Cab for Cutie) were possibly eating fish, but I had no idea it went to hot dogs.

But how could she with gluten intolerance? Without the bun? Are you sure it wasn't at some of the ballparks (like philadelphia) that sells veggie dogs?

I didn't know that Ben was eating meat too, that's disappointing (since I think he'd been veg/vegan for a long time)!

I DID NOT KNOW ZOOEY WAS VEGAN?!!
She is like my most favourite person ever, and this just made me implode.
