Embedded video from
CNN Video It's the middle of the night and I am watching videos on CNN.com for some reason. I see a video headline "Meat Free Mondays" which ends up being a pretty good story for the first half (and look hey it's Sir Paul for a sec!). They're talking about how cow butt emissions mess up the o-zone more than automobile emissions which is not news to most people in this group, but then the segway... into the whole issue with PETA and the fake meat thing. This poor guy's job is to convince people this nasty stuff is going to be good and the first thing the reporter says to him:
"This is flesh created in a lab... what is it going to taste like?"
As if it's exciting or intriguing to her.
It's annoying how these two separate issues keep getting brought up together. I was just kind of shocked by this video and knew some of you would get a kick out of it.
Also - a million bucks?... Are you serious, PETA?... If someone creates fake meat they don't need your lousy chump change. It's obvious they're just doing this to get into the news.
[and it wont let me embed the video for some reason so you'll have to scan the page for the headline. it's the one with a picture of ground beef.]
