A humble plea.

May 01, 2009 17:00

My name is Joseph and on February 20 of this year, me and three others became the first individuals arrested under the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act.  To make a long story short, we were indicted in March on a two count indictment.  One count of conspiracy, and one count of Animal Enterprise Terrorism.  The terrorist actions alleged in our indictment are attending legal demonstrations over a year ago (at which the cops were present), and chalking public sidewalks.

I ask that anyone at all concerned or active in the fight against animal suffering, and those who support free speech read about our case and support me and my co-defendants.

We are going to need tens of thousands of dollars to pay attorneys and hopefully 1. beat these charges and 2. get this unconstitutional law overturned. I humbly request that you consider donating (even if it's as little as five dollars, anything helps!) or consider organizing a benefit in your community to help us pay our legal team.

You can donate via PayPal by sending donations to support@aeta4.org

Also, check or money order can be sent to:

Thanks for reading,
Joseph
