Vegan/Vegetarian dog food
Hey everyone,
So, I decided to get my dogs vegetarian (I'm not sure, but I think it's vegan) dog food. Firstly, because I think it's disgusting for them to have to eat sick, processed animals. Secondly, they have been getting sick and I think that's because of their former food. Dogs are omnivores not carnivores right? What's the difference? lol. (sorry if I sound ignorant, I'm learning) Also, one of my coworkers who is vegan said dogs have to eat some kind of meat to get the nutrients they need...true/false? By the way, I understand the natural way of things and if my dogs weren't domesticated they would hunt and eat animals but that's not the same as me buying them dog food that has bits of tortured animals from factory farms in it right?? Heh, any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
