Hopefully you won't have to be on the medicine long-term? It's going to sound bad, but when you're eating a really, really small amount of food a day, anyone will tell you that even if they're bad calories, you need to eat as much as possible of them. So chips, cookies, soda - even though those have absolutely no nutritional value, if it'll keep you eating, then do it. So (for right now, at least), I wouldn't focus on eating low calorie veggies and whatnot. I personally would stay away from really protein-dense foods like beans because they can keep you feeling full for such a long time. Otherwise, these are all pretty calorie dense ( ... )

Thanks! Yeah it seems like everything I look up about vegans and weight is totally geared towards weight loss. I feel like I'm the only one with this problem!!

I agree, and it is quite frustrating.

yeah, I've been there. I managed to stop loosing weight while still on that med, but gaining was difficult til I got off it.
anyway, I had to force myself to eat as much as I could, I carried stuff around, so I could eat a little all through the day and, of course, I eat all the fatty "bad for you " stuff.
