African American Veg*ns
I know this is probably a silly question but I only know 1 strict vegatarian who's black and we've both been wondering the same thing... how many other black vegetarians/vegans are out there? It gets kind of lonely when you feel like you're the odd one out heheh... I recently went to my mother's friend's mother's house (lol what) and I declined the offer of chicken and mac&cheese. Of course everyone became silent when I told them I was vegetarian and then presumed I was crazy... lol.
Btw, strict vegetarian means you don't consume most animal products but you might dabble in something like honey right? I come across many various interpretations of it.
