I have two male mice, named Tulio and Miguel, who are creating some serious odor problems. I read somewhere that although males get along, which these two do, they'll still "spray" their scent to show their dominance to one another.
Anyways, to the point; I've read on a forum that properly mixing fake vanilla extract with their water will cut down on the scent, and I'm also looking into buying that super absorbent gray news litter. However I'd like to avoid purchasing the litter because it's expensive and the nearest store that sells it is more expensive than the ones that are farther away. -_-
Do any of you know if adding the vanilla is safe and humane for my mice? Has it worked for you? If not do you have any suggestions on what I should use?
Thanks!
