god this reminds me a buddhist/vegan post i want to make. i am having such a hard time wording it. but whatever version the quote is.. i like it.

I do too, and was thinking of incorporating into a tattoo...which is why I want to absolutely sure about the correctness.

I want a vegan tattoo merged with a buddhist tattoo because I am both and it seems to connect so well. Choosing a Gandhi quote is really awesome make sure to show photos when you get it done!!

I couldn't manage to track down the quote in any book text searches I know of, either. Looks like it may not have originally been printed, or actually just been attributed to Gandhi as something of a 'stance' and slowly became one of those random facts people don't question.

Sorry I couldn't help more. It's very interesting, though.
