Soy yogurt!

I'm a big fan of strawberry soy yogurt for breakfast with some granola (yum) and picked up a bunch a couple of days ago from Whole Foods. Only prob was that the expiration date is the 18th ( Read more... )

I'd think that, so long as you eat it in the next few days, it should be fine so long as you keep it in the fridge & sealed before eating(aka, the norm).

i'd say it's fine.

and i'd justify it to myself by saying cultures have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties :)

I wouldnt wait too long to eat it but I dont worry about going a few days over the date.

if it's bad the texture will be really thick and weird.

I'd feel comfortable up to a week. After that I'd go by texture/taste. Things are good so far past the exp. date, and really far after the sell by date. Companies want to make sure they don't get sued.
