Opposite problem..

Hey folks. I'm fairly new to being vegan and have been transitioning from vegetarianism to veganism. I've also cleaned up my diet a bit.

I've noticed a lot of people posting lately about losing weight while following a vegan diet, I seem to be having the exact opposite issue. I've been vegan for about two weeks now and am starting to notice a rise in my weight. I eat pretty clean; grains, beans, lentils, soy, vegetables, fruit and some cereals. No junk [save for a little dark chocolate here and there]. What the hell is the deal? I eat fruit pretty much throughout the day.. could I be eating too much fruit? My caloric intake is staying pretty much the same as when I was maintaining my weight before becoming vegan.. I just can't put my finger on what it might be..

Any insight would be amazing, since I'm so new to this..

Hope everyone is having a beautiful evening :]
