my dear friend FACE is on a solitary road trip and will be in Eugene, Oregon tomorrow. As he lacks access to THE INTERNET, he has asked me to research exciting things for one vegan male to do 'round those parts

I just moved to the Eug, so I can't be of TOO much help, but I do know this:

Pizza Research Institute is the most unique pizza place I've ever been to. It's also entirely vegetarian and they make their own vegan cheese-like topping. 1328 Lawrence St

Sam Bonds Garage is a great bar, and they have some vegan stuff on their menu. 407 Blair Blvd
Sam Bonds is in a pretty neat neighborhood called Whiteaker.

Wandering Goat Coffee Bar usually has vegan cheese danishes that are really really delicious. They also have other vegan pastries, and several non-dairy milk options (at no extra charge). They're in Whiteaker too. 268 Madison Street

Sweet Life Patisserie always has vegan cake and pastry options. Very decadent. They're kind of near Whiteaker. 755 Monroe St

The Bijou Theater is supposed to be neat. Arty movies. http://www.bijou-cinemas.com/

There are also some great places to hike and ride bikes around here. If he wants to stay in the city, I hear there is a trail that goes up Skinner's Butte. There are other trails a bit further out, but I'm not really sure where yet. I think that http://www.visitlanecounty.org/ has some listed.

Thanks for reminding me about Sweet Life! I'll need to remember to make a stop there before I'm back down to SoCal at the end of my weekend trip back home. Mmm.
