Does anyone know of a website that sends out multiple vegan/vegetarian info packets or something of the sort? I've gotten a few here and there from some sites, but I wanted several (if possible). I've been getting a lot of questions from people at school and work about veganism, and i thought it'd be great to have some info to give them besides me ( Read more... )

I'd change yogart to yogurt if I were you, or someone's going to be mean. :-(

I like Silk yogurts the best. There's something strange about the o'Soy yogurts I just can't place.

aren't O'Soy the ones that actually for some ridiculous reason have dairy in them? that could be what tastes funny, though I also really dislike the taste of Silk and can only use it in baking--I like Wholesoy and So Delicious best, and also liked Wildwood the one time I found it in a store

There's nothing that lists dairy as an ingredient, but I believe it has something to do with the cultures being milk-based somehow.

Yeah, it was the cultures last I heard--I know when I checked a container (over a year ago) it said "contains milk" like in the picture here: http://www.vegblog.org/archive/2007/08/28/osoy-yogurt-not-vegan/, but maybe they've changed it (or they just don't always list it)
