wait - krill? was this ad targeted at baleen whales?

and for serious, what is wrong with algae oil? all the DHA and EPA, none of the mercury. sounds like a win-win to me.

can you order from veganstore.com? they've got v-pure, with EPA and DHA. or anywhere online that sells deva, that one's just DHA but i think just as good.

I have heard, though not from any source *I* would actually credit, that algae and flax and other plant source EFAs are some precursor or someshit and that they are not properly synthesized into what our bodies need. I don't *believe* it, but I've been told that.

as i understand it, the EFA you really need is DHA, and your body can make it from the ALA found in things like flax, but not very efficiently. even if you take a ton of ALA you might not end up making enough DHA, depending on how well your body converts. but DHA, along with EPA, is present in both fish and algae oil, so i don't see why taking one over the other would be a problem...
