uhm...what?
So I'm currently in New Orleans for a student confrence. Today, while at one of the sights we were doing work on, I started talking to one of the teachers down here from California, and by the end I was ready to punch him.
I mentioned how I was vegan, and how my class teamed up with the LASPCA down here to help raise awarness of the abandoned Katrina animals. He then goes on a 10 minute meat eating rant about how "you're only smart if you eat red meat, meat makes you strong. LOOK AT ME I'M WORKING ON MY 6 PACK AND I EAT MEAT ALL THE TIME omnomnom" so basically he said I was dumb AND weak, even though I tried explaining about the vegan body builders and athletes. And he keeps on making offhand coments about how delicious the slaughterin of animals is.
Ugh. Sorry to rant.
TLDR: A teacher told me I'm dumb and very weak because I'm a vegan. MEAT R00lz
