Ok, very nice for pointing out vegetarians are normal people but why not extend that to us vegans? "These people are intense." What's up with that? Some of us are just going about the business of being vegan in the same way this guy does being vegetarian. Maybe we just figured out it isn't that hard to find nice non-leather shoes.

Really, I freaking hated that part. Google and, oh, wow, tons of fucking non-leather business shoes.

Seriously! I really don't get vegetarians who wear leather, I stopped wearing it when I was just veg, it is not that difficult!

Yes, exactly. Unless they're veg for health reasons, it makes no sense. I stopped wearing leather a few years before going veg simply because it thought it was gross to be wearing someone else's skin.

Seriously. Even before I made the switch from vegetarian to vegan I wouldn't do leather. Even at 13 it seemed totally blatantly dumb to me to be like "I think it is wrong to kill this cow... well, okay, actually, only if I wear her on my feet instead of eating her." Wut.

Yup. I didn't use leather when I was a vegetarian. I always thought this is the way everyone was - no leather being vegetarian and then if you became vegan you got rid of the wool and silk.
