WHAT?! I originally thought this was the previous article on the subject posted in this community, but WHAT!?

Not to mention that veganism is different and should not be compared to "orthorexia" I LOVE eating healthy and get a major amount of joy in doing so. I don't feel isloated from my friends and family and just feel a little different. *gasp* different?! Oh Gods! Oh no! Must . . . be . . . like . . . everyone . . . else! Gah!

Especially since by 2012 75% of the population will be overweight. *eye roll*

4. Does it sound beyond your ability to eat a meal prepared with love by your mother - one single meal - and not try to control what she serves you?

Because, the ONLY way I can show affection for my Mom and vise versa is through eating. I mean, I wouldn't know my Mom loved me if it wasn't for her Italian meat gravy.

5. Do you have trouble remembering that love and joy and play and creativity are more important than food?

I think people who eat junk food find a hard time doing this.

6. Have you gotten your weight so ( ... )

dude's a moron, but at least it sounds like the author considers the concept ridiculous. unless you're shunning all your friends so you can examine all your food with calipers and scales and a calculator to get it perfectly nutritionally balanced, i don't see that looking down on mcdonalds is anything other than sane.

Thanks, I think it's called a combination of borderline personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, and they say co-morbid bipolar. In any case, not fun. But it makes me get annoyed when people say that my being vegan must make things hard on my mother... Some mothers just aren't capable of love, and what I eat doesn't change that in any way.
