Sorry for the double posting today! I made the earlier post and then I thought of a whole other load of questions I wanted to ask, I’m sorry to be a pain! I’m new to all this and it’s something I really want to do, I just still have a few questions I need answering. Such as:

  • Are there any animal products in clothing?

  • Are there any animal products in food that I wouldn’t recognise the name of on food packaging, such as gelatine? Is it true that gelatine is made out of animal products?

  • When I’m cooking or baking a recipe that would call for milk or butter, am I alright to substitute the dairy products with their vegan counterparts such as soy milk?

  • When you first became vegan, did you lose weight? Do you find it hard to keep your weight up, or is that just a myth?

    I’m sorry if any of these questions sound stupid! Thank you in advance for anyone who answers them xx
