Food in California?
So I am going down to visit my friend who lives in Fountain Valley CA. Does anyone have any recommendations of places to eat while there? Preferably an all vegetarian or vegan place, but anywhere that has good vegan food would be good. I search online and found Au Lac- does anyone have any opinions on this place? This is the first time I have been to a coastal California city and plan on doing all kinds of touristy things like drive up to Hollywood and such, so anything in the general vicinity would be great. I am also planning on driving out through Barstow and spending some time in Death Valley, as it is one of my favorite places, so if anyone knows of any places to eat between Fountain Valley and Death Valley that would be awesome as well (though I doubt there are many places. Last time I was there I was vegan and well...I cooked most of my own food on my camp stove so that is what I am planning on for this trip as well but thought I would ask just in case there is an awesome place where I least expect it).
