can i freeze it?

this might be a really stupid thing to ask, but i get really paranoid about freezing stuff because i hate wasting food. i just made veggie pot pie and made WAY too much filling. can i freeze it? i'm gonna have enough leftovers from the one pie i made, otherwise i'd make another one ( Read more... )

it's really hard for things to get messed being frozen. i freeze almost everything i make. the only iffy thing about it might be if you thaw some meal out and then put it back in the freezer later. something about it not really being safe to be eaten. other than that, it's pretty much a safe bet.

Potatoes get mushy when frozen in liquid...I learned that the hard way when I froze a bunch of soup with potatoes in it. It's edible, but not very good. I suppose you could just pick out the potatoes?
