hello, i'm fairly new here and i'm in the process of starting an animal welfare group in my school to try to get people more involved in animal rights and the world in general. it seems that animal welfare is a good place to start. i myself am a vegan now, almost a lifelong vegetarian beforehand, and there are a whole slew of people who are new to vegetarianism who want to join.
what topics do you recommend the group discuss, supposing there are no boundaries whatsoever? obviously i am one of few people who want to slant this towards the topic of veganism/vegetarianism, but i don't want to force it onto anyone. also, if you know of any articles that show the benefits of veganism, not just the dangers of eating meat and dairy, please post them here. i'm trying to get more flies with honey, so to speak, and not just show a bunch of gorey pictures from slaughterhouses(no matter how horrible and true they are). i've done searching on the internet, but i'd like to get some articles that you all know of personally.
