Help!

I just moved to Allendale, New Jersey from Sunnyvale, California and have no idea what's out here for the vegans or vegetarians. Are there any restaurants? I'm also looking for a job. I already applied to Whole Foods, maybe Trader Joe's. Any suggestions? Like... a hippie coffee place or something?

I have no idea where Teaneck or Oradell is. How far are they from Allendale? I know where Ridgewood is.

Are you vegan or vegetarian?

Hi there,

I'm in Hillsdale, so I'm pretty close to you as well.
I'd ABSOLUTELY recommend Veggie Heaven like the other girl.
I never liked Cool Beans much, but eh.

Also, there's another Veggie Heaven in Montclair and a few other vegan resteraunts in that area as well (about 35 min away).

Finally, start grocery shopping at Trader Joe's in Westwood! They sell lots of delicious vegan food for cheap and everyone there is sooo friendly. It's definetly the best place to get your groceries.
There's also a Whole Foods in Ridgewood, but everything is very expensive there and I've had some employees be very rude to me, so I only go there for speciality items.

Good luck with everything and buy some warm clothes, quick!

Hahaha, thanks! I know, I only have this pathetic jacket and I wore sandals all summer. I'm such a Californian! Gahhh! I need winter clothes.

That's so sad that there is only one recommended veggie place. D: Back in California, there were so many!

Do you know of any coffee/tea shop that's nice or perhaps a bookstore?
