Recently in my own LJ, I posted on the topic of circumcision, which generated quite a bit of discussion and debate. For the record, I did not declare a firm position, but stated that I'm leaning toward anti-circumcison. One person became upset and frustrated with me, stating that NOT declaring a firm anti position was inconsistent with my vegan morals, and equating parents choosing an elective procedure for their sons with people cropping dogs ears or docking their tails.
So, I ask you, veganpeople, are you anti-circumcision? Do you find being pro-circumcision, or being indifferent to circumcision, to be inconsistent with veganism?
