Every summer I attend a sleep-away summer camp for a month, and this is my first year attending it while being vegan, and I was wondering if anyone else had any experiences similar to this, and if they had any suggestions relating to what to bring and whatnot.
I don't think it will be too much of an issue, as both the cooks have always been great at cooking vegetarian alternatives, but I don't want to be a pain in the neck and make them cook special meals for me. I'm bringing some essentials, such as soymilk and nut granola bars (for protein), but since this camp ussually consists of 3+ hours of physical activity a day, I don't want to eat too little. Any suggestions of things I should bring/ways I can help out to make this work for everyone?
Thanks!
