A Little POSITIVE Rant!

I've worked in restaurants (that served meat and dairy) for nearly 5 years now. I've been a vegetarian for year, and dabbling with veganism for about 3 months. It has never much bothered me carrying dirty meat filled plates, or anything like that. In fact the restaurant where I work is wonderful for vegetarians, and can even bend for vegans a bit, as well. But we served a vegetable(obviously not vegetarian) soup that had salt pork in it. This bothered me. One week later, I had the chef make a VEGAN black bean soup. I sold about 10 bowls of it. Only 2 of the people were vegan.That made me proud. damn proud.
