Boston Vegetarian Food Festival?

Has anyone here been to the Boston Vegetarian Food Festival? If so, how is it?

I'm planning a trip to Boston in the fall anyway, and I was wondering how good (and how vegan friendly) this event is.

I've been before, and it's alright, worth attending. There was a lot of vegan stuff when I was there. It's not the kind of thing I'd spend more than a couple hours at -- other than getting some lunch, and sampling a bunch of food, there's not much to do. We tried to go to a cooking demonstration but that turned out to be a total waste of time. The building simply doesn't have the facilities for it; watching some poor chef try and cook on a hotplate in the middle of a classroom with no countertop is not really that educational. This was a couple years ago, so maybe they have found a solution since then :). Thanks for reminding me, I'll probably go again this year.

I went a couple years back, and it was held out near Mission Hill on the orange line, and althought pretty crowded, it was a great time. Yeah, nothing I'd spend more than a couple hours at - walking around, sampling and reading, and maybe a talk or cooking demo.

There's was also a vegan bakery or two that had awesome cake slices for sale.

Vegan cake could be enough to get me out to it :-) Thanks for the info! I think I've heard enough good things that it's at least worth checking out.
