A friend of mine was vegan for a short while (the only vegan friend I've ever had IRL!) but sort of reverted to being an omnivore recently. She really wants to go back to veganism, but I think part of the reason she didn't stick with it originally is that she went cold turkey (instead of slowly transitioning) and felt overwhelmed.
Any suggestions as to what I can do to help her/nudge her in the right direction? I was thinking a little homemade cookbook of easy recipes plus a tray of cookies and/or a gift certificate to Eternity Deli (we're obsessed with their tofu fillets), something that reminds her of how great and yummy veganism is. If I can get one soon, I'll also give her a Vegan Outreach pamphlet--not to force her back into it with scare tactics, but just to remind her of why she originally converted. Any other suggestions?
