is jell-o brand gelatin vegan?
now, i was pretty sure that jell-o isn't vegan. that's what i have always believed. however, one of my vegan friends told me that her friend lives near the jell-o factory and has gone on a bunch of tours there. (school field trips when she was young). there is one part of the tour where they explain how things USED to be, where they used animals and how now they use synthetic products to make jell-o. does anyone have any sources to back this up? i still haven't started eating jell-o, but i'd like to if i could.
