There is also Le Commensale (a buffet where you pay by weight, several locations in the city). They have both vegan and vegetarian stuff. An ideal place for lunch. They have "to go" option as well. You can find their stuff in grocery stores as well (soups, chilies, seitan, pasta). Pushap's next to Namur metro station (this place is also mentioned on Happy Cow) is very very cheap. The food is good and their desserts are very original and tasty (make sure to get the ones with no milk products). There is also Aux Vivres but I haven't been there yet. Oh ans Spirit Lounge (again, no personal opinion) Finally, I just went to Blue Monday. The food is good, the stuff is friendly. Brownies are AWESOME (can you see I am strong on dessert?). It's not a bad place overall. Frigo Vert (a food store) usually cares some vegan sandwiches if you need something while you are downtown There are a lot of vegetarian places as well, I am sure you'll be able to find something. All these places are on Happy Cow.
As for awesome stuff to do..... Walk, explore, go to different parts of the city to see its' different "faces". The weather should be nice, so welcome to MONTREAL!!!! :) Let me know if you have any other questions.
