Malta, VitaMalta Sources in the US
When my boyfriend lived in the Gambia for two years, he used to drink a local and imported non-alcoholic drink called Malta or VitaMalta. Apparently it's like beer without the hops with the flavor of molasses and bread. Odd, but tasty. It was a very simple, vegan beverage. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a source that imports to the US or a recipe for making it at home? Thanks!
