I'm curious, not on what the 'vegan' response is, but on each individuals perception of the acceptability of abortion as I feel this and veganism would be closely intertwined? I probably won't respond to any responses, as debates like these tend to get heated, I'm just curious what the majority of vegans here believe in relation to this matter.

I'm thankful for all these replies and how they have mainly stayed very friendly. So my one question now is, since the majority seems to be pro-choice, how would that play in if a person had only female chickens on their own private farm and ate the eggs? eggs that had no chance of being fertilized and brought to life. It seems as if that is no less damaging, to me, than an abortion...? Again, lets all stay friendly. I like friendly people.
