Spent most of today cleaning the house and arranging things. Also writing. Working on two more blurbs.
Speaking of which, one nice unexpected perk of writing for this film weekly is that I am now a member of The Press. And as such, I am able to attend all sorts of advanced screenings I was not privy to before. While, yes, I can attend press screenings at the Siskel, I was limited to viewing screener dvds of upcoming or festival films. Now, I just say I am with The Press, and I can go do things. Like, for example, get into any screening of the Chicago International Film Festival. Too bad for me the festival ended a month ago.
