Pasta with plum sauce

This is one of those "I threw what I had together" things that I wanted to record. To me, at least, this tastes pretty amazing. Your mileage may vary.

About 10 frozen plums (or fresh)
1 can tomato paste
5 cloves of garlic
spaghetti (or other pasta)
salt and pepper to taste

Stew the frozen plums in about 1/4 cup of water on low heat for 20 minutes to a half hour. Break them up as they thaw and chop them up with a spatula when possible.

Prepare the pasta in boiling water as per the instructions on the package.

Chop up and saute the garlic.

Stir in the tomato paste. Taste it carefully. Add the garlic, taste again, and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over pasta.

Note: It is rather sweet. One could probably have less plum and more tomato stuff to make it less so. Thankfully I have no concept of "too sweet."
