i grew up in billings mt! its a hole! hahah i havent spent a lot of time there the last few years, but there is the one organic whole foods type store, its insanely over priced but its your best bet for finding vegan food, and they have a deli counter with hot food. its called the good earth market. http://www.goodearthmarket.coop/ its def your best bet as far as i can tell. if youre not leaving for a while, i can msg from friends in billings and see if they have any other vegan suggestions. let me know! oh and as some one who travels a lot via the road, the thing that has been a life saver over and over is an electric tea kettle, there is SO MUCH you can make with hot water. any rest stop will have an outlet, its so easy to pull over, make and eat oatmeal and be back on the road in 20 mins. ;D

I don't think I'll take a kettle since my packing list is already gigantic. If ever we find a Starbucks, I'll get hot water there. I'm getting a little bored of oatmeal lately and I'm not a huge fan of soup, so it's not a super big priority for me.
also ive have yet to find a gas station in the country that doesnt have hot water, its with the coffee. also i suggest city brew instead of starbucks, excellent coffee. i posted a facebook msg to my billings friends asking for suggestions. ill post any replies i get!
