NY-Style Rye Crackers

Hello my favorite cooking community!
Today I dug up a snack recipe I hadn't made in a long while. (Not since I've decided to go vegan.) But the great thing is: Both vegans and non-vegans love these crackers because they are healthy and still taste authentic (a bit like Wisecrackers but better I think, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I used a tiny dash of agave nectar. Whoops, forgot to put that into the notes,

I was thinking of maybe molasses, myself, but I am on a huge molasses kick.

ooooOOooh, molasses sounds like it would be good in this!

(I'm on a bit of molasses kick myself, I recently started eating a spoonful of blackstrap a day for minerals and stuff... I've gone from kind of dreading it to really looking forward to my spoonful of yum) :-)
