Sorry, but "flavoursome, good vegan traditional English meals" sounds impossible to me. The only thing I can think of is a fake roast dinner. I never eat English food either (I never thought it was that good in the first place). sorry, not very helpful.

Do you have anything like Yves Veggie Ground Beef in Britain? That works well in a veggie shepherd's pie. TVP might work too.

I've also heard of fish and chips done with tofu, but I've never tried that.

all i can think of is some sort of potato dish
but i barely know what would be considered a traditional english meal to begin with, haha

Shepherd's pie? Are any of the Linda McCartney 'meat and gravy' type pies vegan? And how about a roast type thing with potatoes, sprouts, parsnips, Bisto etc?

Also, I reckon the Brits do curry so well that you're allowed to give her Indian food too! I always go for at least one Indian meal when I take my French friends 'home' because it's really hard to get anything like that that's actually good in France.
