Hanukkah Recipes

Does anyone care to share their favorite vegan recipes for Hanukkah? I specifically would like to know your favorite latke recipe. I don't know what the best egg substitute would be. Thank you. Happy Hanukkah!

you need vegan with a vengeance. latkes, matzo ball soup, three different kinds of knishes. i've been impressing for months.

I love potatoes so all vegan potato pancake recipes made me happy. but without the egg (I tried everything - silken tofu worked the best) they were a whole different food - just not the 'real' thing. Isa's are perfect! and the knishes in vwav are so much fun to make and to eat.

I've looked at it before, but I don't own it. Thanks!

I made these latkes last night, they were delicious, and baked too!: http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=25837.0

A lot of the latkes I've encountered have eggs in them, but some don't. I was also just wondering about vegan Hanukkah favorites in general.

Funny, now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure the latke recipe my Oma uses is vegan (well, except for when she cooks 'em in bacon fat) & I think I've even got a version of it written down somewhere at home...
If I don't comment again before noon, you might want to ping me, okay?
