cooked oatmeal?

Hey Vegans and folks who like Vegan food,

What do you like to do with cooked oatmeal. I really don't want to do a re-heat and eat... let's get creative!

ive never done it, but i've always thought it'd be good to put in a quickbread, possibly as an egg or fat substitute.

sometimes stuff like that that's not really reheatable in my eyes, i'll throw it into the next batch i make-- so if i made oatmeal a day or two later, i'd throw in the leftover stuff when the fresh was done cooking. so it's not so leftovery.

i usually have luck taking my cookbooks and looking at the index for what involves oatmeal, or any other ingredient... try it!

I use dry oatmeal in cookies and pancakes...I have no idea if cooked oatmeal would do anything different to the recipes.

you can use cooked oatmeal as the binder in a loaf--just pick the other ingredients you have here to make a recipe: http://www.veganlunchbox.com/loaf_studio.html
