I have never had success with bagels. It seems like they collapse into a mass of dough when I put them into the water even if they have risen first. And I don't over-boil them, either. Any suggestions?

I just make sure the water is at a rapid boil before dropping them in,I turn my burner on high for as long as possible without it boiling over, and make sure that your dough is real dense or thick, this recipe is a much denser dough and doesn't rise very much and makes some good bagels, you should give it a try.

Hi, no I don't we ate them all up and I haven't made the hummus yet, hehe They were good with out any toppings. Maybe I can post the hummus recipe after we make them again in the next 2 or so weeks.
