Someone gave me a hunk of low-quality vegan already-sweet chocolate.
3/8 c microwave-melted eating chocolate
1/8 c dark dutch-process cocoa powder
1/2 cup applesauce
0 cups sugar, 0 tsp baking powder, 0 spices, 0 cups interesting flour or seeds or anything as this was a test
1/2 banana
1/2 cup unbleached white flour
3/8 cup raisins, 1/4 cup macadamias
Drop by the teaspoon. If they are too big they will be too soft to put in a cookie jar. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
As boyknife says, these are gooey and chocolatey, perfect for brownies (thanks!), but next time I will add, at the least, some anise or cardamon or cumin or orange peel or cinnamon or ginger, and use more interesting flour and germ or seeds, because these are cookies, not brownies, and part of the reason I make cookies is for fiber.
