Thanks for the sushi lesson! I'm not too familiar with the names of the different types of sushi or how exactly each type is supposed to look but I really want to learn so I can call it by it's cool name :) I want to try to figure out how to have the nori just on the outside, but I think that might be harder!
I've found that if you just spread the rice onto the bottom half to 2/3 of the nori sheet, then you can keep the nori just on the outside (roll the rice in on itself, the 'empty' nori sticks to itself if you wet it with a little bit of water). I also found that it helps to leave about a centimetre at the bottom too!
yours look great though! I love mine with marinaded tofu, cucumber or green beans and mushrooms. Also avocado if I have it handy! :)
