I'm a transmalation machine...

OK, I've (basically) finished the clip I was trying to translate. tomato_san has been kind enough to up it at his site, and you can get it here.

The clip is of Thane Camus, a foreign TV talent in Japan (the famous French author Albert Camus is his great uncle, I'm not kidding!) and his interaction with a comedy duo called Tetsu and Tomo. Even if you have no interest in Japanese stuff (I'm looking in your direction, zimbra1006, goldenmoonbear, and countblastula ;-) ) please take the time to download it and watch it, cuz it took me awhile to do. Plus I want to see what the reaction of somebody who knows no Japanese is to it.

Also, if anybody out there can figure out what the heck that host guy is saying in the places I didn't translate, or what Tetsu and Thane are saying when they're jumping in the air, I'd appreciate it. I couldn't figure it out, even though I musta listened to both like 6,000,000 times each. Also, I took some liberties in some places to make it more understandable in English, so no complaints or telling me my Japanese sucks, d'ya ken?

Anyway, Man-D said he's gonna take down the link soon, so get it while you can! It's about 17MB big, so it'll take a little bit if you're on a modem, but even people on dial up should be able to get it in an hour or so. Just leave your computer on while you do something else or something. ;-)
