Has anyone else seen My Father, My Brother, and Me on Frontline?  I recommend it highly.  It is a documentary on Parkinsons by a man who along with his father and brother has Parkinsons.  I have a friend with Parkinsons so I was very interested.  It covers all the issues, from genetics, to environmental poisoning to stem-cell research in a way I ( Read more... )

It is pretty scary, isn't it? Our gandparents worked SO much harder, physically, than we do. Is it any wonder they live a long time and were thinner, happier and healthier in general?

Very interesting. I have never heard before that physical exercise has an influence on Parkinson.
This motivates me to exercise more than diabetes, stroke, heart disease and how I look in a bathing suit.
I agree.

It sounds like an very interesting documentary. I'll keep my eyes open.

I know when I've been working out, I'm a lot happier.

I haven't been working out lately, and it shows. My patience is something close to nonexistent. I'm tired. I feel like a blob of skin. And yet... I can't motivate myself. It's awful.

It's probably time to get off my rear, though.

I am of the opinion that exercise can cover over a multitude of health problems. Have fun exercising!
