Palace fic! Sorry, you have no idea how long i've been searching for anyone that has watched/written about this show. I found you through fandomsecrets and searching through all the comments for anyone after I read that secret. Sorry, i'm rambling slightly from the shock of actually finding a story. And an amazing story at that. I have to admit that over time i've deluded myself into believing that they're off having a happy ending despite everything but I love all the different ideas you came up, and that they all seem in character! Not entirely sure on the Eleanor becoming queen one, but that's more because she'd scare me as queen rather than anything wrong with what you've written.

Oh, wow, I didn't think anyone would ever actually read this! Thank you so much for the lovely words, I pretty much assumed I would just be sending this out without an audience. And yes, I totally agree about Eleanor, it would be a frightening prospect to have her as queen--but that scene, I think in episode eight (possibly seven?) where she and Rich are talking and he says he's thought about stepping down... well, I HAD to include it :D
